The cat wouldnt actually attack him for doing this. They would get upset. Anyone who gets scratched like that was roughly playing without their nail clippers. Or they were fucking with it.

Only time I had cuts like that was when I was giving medication to a paranoid cat. Still have a few scars. Thing is, they don't actively pursue.
