I could see why a teen might pretend to be early 20s for access, but other than the 90-99 and 100+, I doubt anyone’s pretending to be middle aged or elderly. 😒
I actually call men who say they are my/ age out just being rude and acting really immature , And younger people do use the word "Assume " a lot and say "I don't have to respect you because of your age ,you have to earn mine " Most people my age have been taught 1)Manners 2)respect especially for your elders 3) common courtesy We show others respect and courtesy ,until they give you reason not to ,,and even then most of us try right on .
Recently I dealt with a man his age not listed so I asked was he a younger man and he replied he was in the same age group as me ,disabled Vet also ,so a lot in common once we talked .
I said I was sorry if he took what I said the wrong way ,he said it was both of our faults and lets start over
That is how mature adults handle things ,,the younger generation lacks that skill ,,so easy to bust when they present themselves to be our age ,,even though when you ask them they will deny it But its like someone saying they are Christian and show no fruits of the spirit at all Same thing applies to a teen trying to pass themselves off as 50 ,,things they say ,,just don't line up language they use ,,people my age don't ,,,as a rule

I said I respect you ,you have shown great patience and kindness to me ,,I feel thats not easy for you ,so I appreciate it even more As for the guy ,,some of our vets today are just highly trained ass holes ,with no respect for the people they turned from allies into our enemies ,,cultures that respect their elders and females ,,and they robbed them of all dignity and they were not even the ones who attacked us on Sept 11 But no dear read it again I said I respect you ,and thank you for the respect you have shown me BUT if we come at people with the attitude you need to earn my respect ,,instead of giving it regardless then we get what we have sown ,, I turn enemies into friends all the time , apparently some think I do something right

@Phire1 I never called you a jerk ,you are honest and stand by your convictions ,,something I very much admire I myself can be a jerk ,,but I work hard at not allowing someone to pull that out of me The old me was fairly skilled at eating jack ass's for breakfast ,,but now I represent Christ I try to always be respectful and patient Can show someone I am not your average Christian offending them and pushing them away ,,I will go the extra mile with you ,,kind people saved my life A vet sleeping on cardboard in a hobo /wineo camp smelling like pee from the ground I'm sleeping on I know the top ,I know the bottom and I am only filthy rags without Christ ,,that is who changed me ,,my training only made me bold

I sometimes act like i am sweet 16. But I am of course not 16. A person is versatile with behaviour.
@PikachuTrainer Sorry if you thought I was rude ,,I do feel bad today ,,it says you give your age away by things you say ,sarcasm and lack of respect for others ,, Not all young people are arrogant and rude and assume they know more then they do ,,but it is getting to be pretty common ,,,it just shows through ,, When you are rested ,come back to my comment ,,it explains how we know
I sometimes don't act my age either - LoL - but what is a 45 yr old really 'supposed' to act like anyway? I think some people on here are under 18 though list their age as older.
