What is the funniest 'collection' that you have ever heard of?

I remember hearing of one person who collected sugar packets, another who collected moist towelettes and a third who collected chocolate bar wrappers.

My grandfather insisted on collecting all the cat hair that was brushed from my grandmother's cat, Alfonso. (Fonso for short). They had bags and bags of it, and my grandfather insisted he wanted the hair spun into thread, then woven into fabric, and that he wanted my grandmother to make him a pair of gloves out of it.

Unfortunately, one of their neighbors poisoned the cat, and the project was never completed.😹

Coke memorabilia. Why, just why?

I've read about finger (and toe) nail clipping collections. I don't know what sort of display cases they have, though.

Chicken bones from dinner. They dry them with some meat still on them and make doll house furniture!! It was in a museum in NYC.

Stand by to lose your last meal; I collected the scabs off my chicken pox, kept them in a bottle.

Navel lint. I read about it somewhere, years ago.
