What will you say when someone calls you “ugly”?

I have said “Why don’t you look in the mirror when you say that?” ... shut them up quickly.

I may be ugly on the outside but you're ungly on the inside

Most of my boyfriends over the years told me I was not pretty enough to please them. Even my own mother conveyed to me that I was not pretty or attractive. Although it wounded me and I cried about it a lot, mostly secretly, I also thought of the Bible quote, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
