Scaredy-cats

My friend and I were at the lake behind my house the other day. We came across two really big men poking at something in the bushes with a stick. I heard one of them say, I think it’s a python, so we stopped to have a look. Sure enough there was this fat brown thing with dimond patterns on it, you couldn’t see its head coz it was in a hole and the other end was in the long grass. While the man was poking at it and saying he was going to have to kill it, he told me not to come any closer “young lady” While I was looking at it l said there isn’t any pythons around here, he said what you you know “girly” So I stepped around him and picked it up and handed it to him, it was one of those draft stoppers things that you at the bottom of your doors. There was silence, my friend and I just walked off and went swimming, funny man.
