SA sucks
Every time I buy alcohol, the cashier thinks I'm trying to pull a fast one on him/her. They see how I'm socially anxious and they mistaken it for something else. I'm like this anywhere I go whenever I'm out and about. It doesn't matter if I'm at the liquor store or the Library that's just how I am by nature. But sense cashiers have to always be on the lookout for fake ID's they mistaken my social awkwardness for me trying to use a fake ID. I've once had a cashier ask 3 other cashiers if my ID looked real to them before and it's so embarrassing because they make me feel like I'm doing something wrong. But I'm 22yrs old and I'm legally allowed to purchase alcohol. I understand that they have to really make sure one is old enough but some of these cashiers give me dirty looks like I'm up to no good. I just feel like the cashiers can be more polite. Plus it's even harder not to look weird when you're a newbie. I'm not sorry that I don't know what to pick from hundreds of different alcohol choices. They find me suspicious just because I don't know what I like yet and so I spend extra time deciding what I'd like to purchase. I can see the connection between underage noob and not knowing how to say 'tanqueray' properly but COME ON! That's a hard one to pronounce. Many people pronounce that one wrong, even veteran drinkers. Next time I'm gonna say "that's right, I can't pronounce it right but just give me some of that good 'tank-ray' stuff in the green bottle with the red thingy on it!"
