Ever get excited about something extremely mundane?

After months of it being out of stock, I saw a table I really wanted from IKEA was back in (according to their online stock tracker), so I ran out immediately and got it before they ran out again, and was super excited to finally have it. Then I realized an average piece of furniture was a rather strange thing to get excited about.

So what mundane things do you get excited about?

I don't see that as the least bit mundane...you didn't think it was mundane...you really liked it and finally got it....so why refer to it as "extremely mundane?" I think it's great you got it

@Fernie It was more of the idea of getting excited about furniture in general. Like, my younger self would be disappointed knowing her future was to get excited about a small table.

@FaeLuna I see it as being wise enough to see beauty in a small table and want to take it home. That's just appreciation imo. Don't listen to your younger selves...they are silly and don't get it yet
