What's your 'and then it got worse' story?

Hope it doesn't happen today.Getting the train to North Wales in an hour.Any delays and my journey becomes unnecessary!
Once spent three hours on Didcot Parkway after being delayed in Oxford on the way home!Damn signals.

My most embarrassing moment as a kid... (which did have the benefit of not getting worse after that event by having too many find out about it).

Acting like a doofus, I dissed a gal while in 7th grade. She took umbrage. In the woodline... she then beat me up fair and square...

Stuck in Reims airport on a Pritt Stick jolly when aircraft radio went wrong. Agreed to another plane, only to find it was like a Royal Mail plain with wooden bench seats. And only one Pilot. And flight was 5am.
