Anyone who thinks women aren't funny has either never met a woman or lacks any sense of humour

@CountScrofula lol the thing about this statement is I don’t think people are understanding that I’m not saying women cannot be funny, women can and there are funny women out there I just tend to see more men who are funny than I do women. Some people may see a balance or the other way around but I don’t it’s probably just the shows I watch tend to have more male roles or the most funny people I’m around or experience are usually men although that’s just my experiences doesn’t mean it’s a fact.

@Stark Honestly, I'm mostly annoyed at the like, eight people who replied that thread just saying women aren't funny as a matter of fact. I can't speak for your personal experience, but it's a weird stereotype because I literally know dozens of really, really funny women. Probably more than I do men.

And when that stereotype extends into comedy, you get this 'Women aren't funny' thing where female comedians get no promotion or play outside of a select few.
