Shouldn't Dihydrogen Monoxide be banned?

lmao. They showed us this my first year of college to make a point about finding reliable sources for research. It is pretty funny. Yes, it should definitely be banned. We can totally live without DHMO.

Just avoid the kind that comes from municipal water systems.

WTF,where did this crap come from?
Graciebaby · F
But u say it's always been present, however now some Arseholes are using it against us?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Graciebaby "Dihydrogen monoxide" is a joke, it came from an April Fool's Day gag that two radio hosts did where they referred to water as "dihydrogen monoxide" and then said that the entire city's water supply had been contaminated with it. It led to mass hysteria and hordes of people calling poison control centers. It's not heavy water, it's not anything but regular water with an awkward scientific name. Water is H2O, right? Two hydrogen, one oxygen? Dihydrogen means to hydrogen atoms, monoxide means one oxygen atoms, so it's just a weird way of saying H2O.
