Because its a sign of fertility and guys are programmed, at least usually, to find girls who appear better at childbearing attractive. That's the boring biological reason anyways. But it doesn't always hold up, everyone has their own tastes.

It's a preference... my personal preference runs from tiny to titanic, coz it doesn't matter to me all that much so long as she's nice and loveable.. to reitterate what someone here already said, it's the personality that matters.. you might be looking at a physical body, but its her soul that's looking back at you..
