I Was Blocked

It's one thing to present oneself as something they may or may not be; that's bad enough in and of itself.
But to say to someone "my profile pic was taken last summer (of 2015)" when the photo was from a 2010 online article is insulting.
When I mentioned the discrepancy in a thread I didn't get a response. Later I happened to see a response from that person and when I checked I discovered I have been blocked.

It's a little distressing but not too surprising.

Haha.. I re-ask, "So your pic is recent?" Then once I get the yes I just took it or a week or so ago- "Really, that's strange b/c it's been all over the Web for about 10 years now!" And...Blocked! Lol

Liars don;t like to be seen for what they are.
And sometimes they think their lies mean more than they actually do.

Kind of sad really.
I've had internet friends totally disappear because someone has pointed out obvious to everyone but them, lies. It's upsetting.

Guys maybe they have problems with accepting who they are but if they got caught and tear them in humiliation which may lead them to realise that's an odd thing to do,..maybe then we can forgive and let's open the doors no one should be left isolated and hurt...

Lol Islandalone i do have a problem with the ones who do this and still use their real profile picture, but you've never given me any reason to not believe you're real and you're always respectful of others.

And they think there's nothing wrong, or broken.
So, you have instances like this.

I am enjoying this thread and group of people immensely, especially the time traveling bit. People behave badly as a rule, and worse when they think they can get away with it. It is good to find some that understand respect and humor. You all made me smile today

Well, it's like this with me. I'm not here for the same reasons a lot are. I'm not trying to live a double life. I've heard all the tricks desperate guys like to play. It just shows a lack of self esteem. If a person's life sucks that bad, I'm not sure there's anything i can do to fix it lol

Granted there are other things that truly cause stress, and this really could be called a minor annoyance, so thank you for straightening me out. :)

I'm a little (?) camera shy because I don't like the way I look.
As far as being respectful I feel (in most cases) one is innocent until proven guilty; or one is given the benefit of the doubt.

Jade, they don't realise (usually) that they've created their own isolation when it happens. Sadly if they don't it just gets worse and they'll feel the need to lie even more.

I have one so i can stalk Mayday Parade and people like that. I mostly follow people from England who take pictures of the scenery. I almost never even have it installed on my phone though
