I Am In a Long Distance Relationship

It is very very frustrating when your boyfriend doesn't talk to you as much. Granted I understand that we both have lives outside of each other but it just still frustrates me because I have other people who talk to me more than he does....I mean ughhh, he has even told me that he feels like he doesn't give me the attention that he should and then he just stops replying... Our video chat sessions are becoming slim to none..A part of me feels like I may be overreacting and the other part of me feels like I am doing all of the work. I really just don't know what to do

I was in a similar situation once, long distance and it felt like I was always having to message her first, lead the conversations, stuff like that. I got so tired of it and i think it's part of the reason we split. even though she didn't realize she was doing it it obv still affected things an we just weren't that compatible

The "LDR drift" in inevitable so, from experience, u gotta find new ways to make things interesting and I don't mean diq pics.. little gifts and surprises are always a perk.

that is not a replacement for spending time together online or off.

@xxcandy2k13xx: the smallest things keep the relationship "real" so don't overthink it. I hope he looks out for u too 😕 best wishes

@annamarie65: I never implemented that it should be. I'm simply sharing a suggestion ☺
It is tough but if you both love each other you will make it work!! It's all about priorities

@From2differentworlds: apparently this has been going on for some time, it isnt a new relationship...if she is the only one trying to talk and he always says he will talk more and then doesnt do it...it is throwing up red flags saying that it is over and time to move on.
No@annamarie65: nothing is handed on a silver plate! You keep fighting until you know you gave it all you got!

@From2differentworlds: that is what she has been doing

have you told him how you feel? If he is not willing to spend time with you, online or off, maybe you should find another boyfriend.

I have spoken to him about how I was feeling and at the time he will apologize and say he will get better but then right after the conversation he goes back to the same thing

@xxcandy2k13xx: it sounds to me like you need to find someone else that will spend time with you and show you the attention you deserve.

Probably best to move on. I've been in those long distance things and have found when the communication starts to slip it is a sign of the end.
