I Believe Life Is a Life Long Lesson

I'm lowkey convinced that I committed suicide in a past life (maybe around 1994, as an adult lol) and I was reborn in this generation because I hadn't learned everything I needed to when I died. Might be all in my head but I always feel like I've seen a lot of things before, heard a lot of old songs before, and most of my really good friends are much older than me. Well at least the ones I'm able to hold a conversation with. I was obsessed with history when I was in elementary - middle school and feel like I lived through some of the things I read about. Also when I was little I also used to have recurring nightmares of being in a car crash (still haven't learned to drive for this reason yet, and I'm 20).

And here I am going down the same path, thinking about giving up at every inconvenience. I really am a failed project lol

You are like many of us who look at our lives, question purpose, seek inspiration, and wondering if these thoughts mean that we are less ambitious or goal focused like many others. I think these thoughts and feelings have purpose and meaning even if they don't lead to an immediate epiphany to "what's it all about." Recently, one of my sorority sisters shared with me some insights she had from books she read over the Thanksgiving holiday, "[b]Conversations with God[/b]," and "[b]Home with Go[/b]d," by [b]Neale Donald Walsch[/b]. I was fascinated because they seem to talk about what you are writing about, Rick. I ran over to our library and checked one out and have begun to read it. Give it a shot, Rick. My girlfriend says that outside of chatting with a counselor these books have helped her out.

If the whole past life experience thing is true, maybe you were given a second chance. Don't ever give up man, you're a talented dude, and smart. You can do anything you put your mind to. Life can be as good as you make it
