I Love Trees

Yup, I live a good life! This is what I see out my back door.
lovely!
I don't want to imagine living someplace without loads and loads of trees. I need the green.
...though my backyard is not nearly as lush as yours.

@TwiddlerofThumbs Me too, I can't wait for the trees to start budding.... (Last summer's picture) ... Oh! Yes, love it in the spring when the flowering trees through the woods puts on their show too!
Scarlet5 · 26-30, F
I’d have to drive 5 hours just to get to a place with that many trees!
Echoing · 61-69, F
@Scarlet5 In all directions, lots of trees, this is what I see around my home, my blessing in life... plus my husband. ;-)

@Bushmanoz oh wow! lol... It's hard to not brag, but yup... I guess I am pretty proud woman. Hey... it's better than belly-aching ;-)
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@Echoing it certainly is, besides, it's not really bragging, you probably worked hard to get there. Trying to do a similar view change right now myself, fingers crossed
Echoing · 61-69, F
@Bushmanoz fingers crossed and a prayer sent for you to find your slice of Heaven on Earth also!
Beautiful ! Looks like someplace with regular rainfall. 💦
Echoing · 61-69, F
@bijouxbroussard Not at all. It's all the mountain springs. It's the southern part of the state. It seems the storms/rain hit the range of mountains and float right on by. Upper state gets hammer. Now almost 2 yrs ago, we got slammed with flooding. The waterways could not handle the amount of rain. We had no need in worrying, our house sits up the side of a mountain.
@Echoing Aren’t the springs replenished by rainfall ? I ask because my state had a four year drought and many of our springs and water sources in the northern area virtually dried up for awhile. Everything in your photo looks so lush and green.
Echoing · 61-69, F
@bijouxbroussard Yes they are. I guess if we had a drought, we would not be lush and green neither. The Ohio is north of us. The Greenbrier is just down the road. And a all season creek runs through our land here... It never has dried up according to the folks here. I hope you all get some rain that will help you.
