I Am Bi [Bisexuality]
I am bi, I find it interesting and odd how people react to people who are bi. Many people think that you are either straight or gay. At my age I have learned to live my life as I see fit.

We are all born bisexual. Whether you embrace that is heavily determined by your upbringing and your acceptance/refusal of your upbringing.
It seems with every passing year we are more open in public about our personal sexuality. Your statement Backwoodsmand2 about being a male bisexual might have had you shunned by society 30 years ago. It was okay for a female to be bi (wink wink nudge nudge) but not a male. You'd have been called all kinds of horrid names.
The tide is turning and just as gay males and females have come out to the closet, more recently bisexual male are standing up and saying "Me too". 馃憤

@LucyAndEddy Actually I was not called "horrid names" by many people. It was just that people did not understand bisexually. I think that there is more understanding now. Also, I did not grow up in the U.S. I grew up in a First Nation culture, it was not problematic there, it was a concern when I started working in the majority Anglophone culture.

@Backwoodsman2 Funny you should mention that as our experience has been that our First Nation's people accept their sexuality and those of their brothers and sisters without judgment. I'm so glad you weren't subjected to the name and shame.
