I Go Barefoot to the Store

Well there’s no school today well actually this week so I’ve been out and about in my bare feet. Just today I went to B&M (like a discount store), Tesco and Morrison’s 🙂 all in my vest, shorts and barefoot. I did have a few weirdos looking at my toes but I don’t care. My feet are comfortable and bare and there’s are not. The tarmac was quite hot though in the car parks so I played stay on the white lines!! The cool tiles at the shops was a welcome pleasure to my bare feet.

Good for you Katie! I got to the store (and many other places) barefoot ALL the time! Grocery store yesterday. I have to go to to post office, and another grocery today. I'll stay barefoot for all. 👣

@KatieJ That sounds like it was fun. You sound as if you enjoy it. I'm not to sure I'd be able to do it myself.😀 Are there aspects of it that are challenging or do you enjoy all of it? Is it preferable if the weather (and therefore the pavements) is a little less warm?😀
GkB01 · 51-55, M
@KatieJ I suppose the best thing is the weather isn't always as hot in the UK as it has been on some days recently😀. Do you get some strange reactions when people see you with no shoes on?
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@GkB01 Oh yes plenty of weirdos staring at my toes.
GkB01 · 51-55, M
@KatieJ How long have you gone shoeless? I take it that you aren't too bothered by the reaction you get? Do you get some positive encouragement as well?😀
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@GkB01 When you say how long do you mean my longest barefoot stint? Then 4 weeks last year. I’m not really fussed about people staring and the most I get is “What no shoes?!”
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@GkB01 Of course barefoot in PE lessons 😀 I slip my ballet flats off all the time!

@KatieJ I take it that the answer to my last question is no then😀. From what you say, any chance to bare your feet is probably too good a chance to miss! Are you the only one that does it (somehow I think not!!)😀

That must be fun trying to walk only on the white lines! 😌
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@GentleLucille Yes and I did 😄 the pavement was still warmish and it was beautiful.
GentleLucille · 26-30, F
@KatieJ It is thundery and wet here at the moment, so I have been dancing barefoot in the damp grass 😌
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@GentleLucille sounds so idyllic

I take it you're British? Tesco's gave it away.
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@SW-User Haha yeah I’m British

Nothing wrong with batefood in B&M I suspect the big stores like Tesco would quote Health & Safety and say it's not allowed.

Great barefoot day here....so far. Trip to Home Depot, Lowe's, 2 grocery stores, and the Dry Cleaners, all barefoot. 👣
