I Want Ot Know How Many Shoes Do You Own

Zero! I do not own any shoes at all I live my life barefoot and I love the barefoot lifestyle. I ditched shoes 2 years ago when I finished with school and now I'm a barefoot college girl with a part time job filing in my mums office so I'm able to live completely barefoot.

Same. I own no shoes and go always barefoot since years! My only footwear are anklets and ankle strings sometimes.

@ChildOfNature That's more than enough. 😉 Bare feet are lucky feet.

I don't own any shoes or flip flops. Barefoot every day with dirty soles.
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@coldshield cool! Me too

I love to be barefoot but I still own quite a few pairs of shoes. Although I stick to certain brands and styles. I like converse and ballet flats mostly.
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@Psychologykate I used to wear converse and Van's when not in school and they were ok to wear sockless but I soon realised I much preferred bare feet.

Nicely done proud of you.I have been barefooted now since the 1st week of April 2018.I even did presentations at work with my feet bare and wearing shorts.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
@KatieJ I recommend MMA,Krav Magra or Karate.
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@tallpowerhouseblonde I'll look them all up!

@KatieJ I teach karate pretty often too, love to see students doing well and moving up the belts.

Each to their own, I hope a year later nothing's changed...

I still wear shoes here and there, and I'll likely always own a pair barring calamity depriving me of them.
My go-to are VFFs, should I need them outside of work shoes, of course...
serpenthydra · 41-45, M
@KatieJ Must be how you were raised...

I wonder what was said to instil this sense of individuality in you...
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@serpenthydra Well I'm an only child that might have something to do with it but I dunno. All I know is I'm happier with barefeet
serpenthydra · 41-45, M
@KatieJ Same here... so that's not it. I was a shoddiie like 20 years before I stopped using them. Crushed feet, constant verrucas, ingrowing toe nails, nothing put me off shoes until something changed in me sometime 2006. And even then it was very slow progression until 2010 when I swore of them completely in my day-to-day...

So I dunno what makes you, you. But cherish it. Cos it's rare!
rachelsj · 22-25, F
I enjoy being barefoot but there are times when needed
rachelsj · 22-25, F
@KatieJ does sound nice u till you maneuver through a briar patch or sharp rocks in the creek. Though I have played golf barefoot a time or two
KatieJ · 22-25, F
@rachelsj My soles are like a smooth leather and sharp rocks don't face me at all.
serpenthydra · 41-45, M
@rachelsj I'll never be able to hack holly leaves. Even dried up and shrivelled they still poke.
That's really my only bugbear, though if on a walk I'll grin and bear it.

I guess the golf course may have a dress code. Mowing the lawn, just keep your feet away from the blades. That's lawn-mowing 101 no matter what you're wearing. And as for a woodland walk, stick to the path or the most trodden route, and watch what you're stepping on. Do that and you can enjoy some of the best terrain available to a barefooter!

If you go off-piste, I find raising you legs higher and staying nimble keeps you safe. And should you get 'bitten', it might just be an inconvenience and pinch/itch a little for a few days after or use antiseptic should it draw blood. No fear, that's the key I think. Shoes harm the feet.
They're a tool, not a crutch...

Very good, I became a full time barefooter in my college time too.
