Will you pray with me? [I Believe In Prayer]

Loving Father, praises and glory to you. Thank you so much for sending Jesus to redeem us. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for blessing us in so many ways. Help them find a cure and a vaccine. Keep all the workers safe. Please keep all my friends that join me in prayer safe and well Father and protect them from the virus. I love you all very much. Y’all keep me going. Give us repenting hearts and strong faith. Protect us from evil. Please heal the world of the virus Father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Goodnight everyone. God bless. ❤️

Amen!!

Sleep tight my friend... may you wake up to a wonderf Thursday..🤗🤗
Shouldn't God do that anyway without being asked?
@SW-User The idea of “prayer” as asking God for anything is foreign to me. I was raised in a tradition where prayer was a communal ceremony, not a personal request. But to each his own.

@LeopoldBloom Yeah, I understand, it used to be foreign to me too. So it felt weird, the conclusion I came to is accepting Christ in my heart and asking for forgiveness is purely relational between you and God. I began to pray in my heart and talk with Him, eventually you build a relationship with God in your heart and mind. Your eyes are opened to helping others instead of yourself. It got to a point where I can never deny His existence now even with going through alot of crisis in life and it is no longer foreign to me, when I hear His voice in my mind or heart it is like that of my own mothers voice. God will prove Himself to you if you give Him the opportunity. All you have to be is willing and ask Him to show Himself. As far as community prayer I guess it is good that you have this, I can say there is power in community prayer and even gatherings as long as the intent is pure. The bible says where two or more are gathered in Jesus' name, He is there with them. I think the specifics as I have referred the above to is in the relationship with God not a religion where man has corrupted God's intent of gatherings. He desires a daily walk of life with Him not an over spiritual I am holier than thou kind of person. That is what Jesus did to liberate us from. Anyways, if you ever have questions feel free to private message me. I am an open book.
@SW-User It sounds like I have to believe in God before I can believe in God.

If God exists and is interested in me, he should reveal himself in a way I can understand, right now. I can't be more open to the experience than that. And I can't force myself to believe through an act of will than you can force yourself to disbelieve.
