"The Sound of Music" is a GOLDEN CLASSIC From 1965! It is a MUST SEE! I have the 50th anniversary edition with many extra features!
Girl, you have got to see this movie. Ask your parents and grandparents about it. The actress who played the oldest child died in 2016 but the rest of the "kids" are still alive. It is based in Austria during the Nazis regime. The family portraid in the movie was REAL musical family called the Van Traps. Who were able to escape after the Nazis took over the country.
The movie said they escaped over the mountains but they actually got away by train.
It is a superb movie an grossed $286,000,000 at the box office.
How about "The Wizard of Oz?". Ever seen it? A movie way ahead of its time in 1939!
