Have you actually done the route yourself. We went off the route too so in total we did 1500 from leaving Liverpool on the first day. @Nimbus

We went up the west coast, crossed the northern road and then down the east coast.
True.

We kept leaving the route and going down small roads using Google maps to stick right next to the coasts. This way we found such hidden gems. @Nimbus

@pennynoodles I know, some great lonely scenery, we did too :)
