I See a Psychiatrist

Actually i need to see one.. I just wanna know the true me. what i am and why i am being like this which am not supposed to be.

Hello and good day. I am Donna. I am a clinical psychologist. There is a difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist. Really the only difference is that a Psychiatrist can prescribe medications. The are in fact Medical Doctors. I do hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

I think it’s very healthy to go chat about how you’re feeling. I’ve vern on a number of occasions and most of the time it has helped. You just need to be 100% honest with yourself and open to letting someone in to help

I reckon you should better consult a psychologist rather than a psychiatrist.

@SW-User whats the difference? Their proffession is not the same except with medications?

Psychologists dont give you medicines whereas Psychiatrists are supposed to give you medicines in any case, unless I am mistaken.
