I Believe In Reincarnation

Reincarnation Is Not A Heresy.... The theory of reincarnation is not a heresy as the church would have us believe!
The theory of reincarnation was first declared a heresy in AD 553 by the Second Council Of Costantinople,,for political reasons with Emperor Costantine in cahoots with the church, making the responsibility of Salvation not of the people but of the church.
So taking away people's autonomy for their Salvation and giving it to the church,so as to increase the power and control of the church. The church attemped to get rid of verses referring to reincarnation by removing them from the Bible.Which proves the Bible to be a "much doctored book! "This is one of the verses still in the Bible: Him that OVERCOMETH,I will make a pillar in the temple of my God and HE SHALL GO OUT NO MORE. Revelation 3:12.

Reincarnation is at the crux of pretty much every religion, so I don't see how it can be written out of the bible, although I know that it was.....

In paganism we have the 'summer-lands' philosophy of our heaven and reincarnation, or just the plain old dead body burial/cremation leads to sustenance for plans and animals type....

Either way we are recycled.....

The churches once did these things for control and to stamp their authority down on the lands.....

But we're all older and wiser these days...

Interesting post....

Yes the church got rid of the competition by any means possible, from actively killing people who did not want to follow their rules and manufactured teachings to using ridicule.( the old witch on a broomstick with the pointed hat) they even got rid of midwives, healers, wise people, all put under the same cathegory "WITCH"the inquisition did a very good job, it was relentless and lasted for a very long time. They literally brainwashed people in the course of the centuries, that now even non believers in the church and religion will have the same distorted views of certain beliefs and practices. The church has coined a lot of preconceived beliefs to stop people thinking for themselves. Appreciate your input.

I don't mind being a heretic. "I have many things to say to you, but you can't bear them now." Hmmm...

Great advice there....

I know from my life I had gravitated to certain types of people when I was younger and had a fascination with certain types of people, to a degree. Then, I remember being drawn to a historical book that my parent's had. Reading through it I came across the photograph of a mutilated corpse and the first thing that came out of my mouth was 'so that's how I was murdered!', with certain snatches of visions making sense....

It can be quite a shock....and quite distressing....so do take care...

This is why an accredited hypnotist must be chosen, to help guide the person through traumatic memories when they emerge and know when to bring the person back if they feel they are getting distressed and traumatised by the experience.

Oh that's remarkable. I totally believe you. I had three dreams showing who I was, but only after the third one could I understand. There is a mountain of uncanny coincidences between me and this person. (sorry, my phone won't save replies today.)

They say the eyes are the window of the soul. Try this experiment, meditate in a darkened room with a candle and a mirror, focus your attention on your own eyes.

I have read a book by Raymond Moody (the author of life after life) where he describes that kind of meditation, if I remember it well it was called "The last laugh" but in this case I believe it was to get in touch with deceased people.
