I Wrote a Poem

Ronin

What do I do now, the master has dismissed me.
I have no one, no one left to serve.
I gave you my all, I picked you up when you were down.
I let you cry on my shoulder, and I held you when you were cold.
I saved you, I stopped you from killing yourself.
I want to serve you, but you turned me away,
I always loved you, but you never let me in.
I would have accepted second best, but you didn't want to use me.
I don't know if you found someone else, but I still need you.
Even though you don't need me.
Justice, courage, mercy, gratitude,
honesty, honor, loyalty, self-control.

I try to live by these, I tried to protect you.
I lost my master, and I have no home.
I am nothing, not even to you.
I am a ronin.
