I Wrote a Poem

Shes been asked why she is the way she is,
The question brought her back a few tears.
She had thoughts on the past,
With what shes been through the past 20 years.
With every year that went by,
With everything that shes been through.
With everything shes ever felt,
Only if they even knew.
From things she cant forget,
From being reminded of all of it.
Its caused her to have struggles now,
Struggles she didnt wanna admit.
She tried to hide all her struggles,
But it got harder as time went by.
Memories and feelings would cross her,
Then shed just break and cry.
Someone wanted her to be different,
They wanted her to be perfect.
Only problem was her past,
It had made an effect.
