I Love Sleeping

I need lots of sleep while I am still growing. I totally get why I have a fixed bedtime and I respect my parents for that. But I don't understand why my mum is so obsessed with getting me up early during the holidays. In the week I am awake before everyone else so I can go running before school. But in the holidays . . well, I am allowed perhaps two lie-ins, then it is like a crime if I am still in bed after 8.30am. This morning my mum came into my bedroom without knocking and tickled the soles of my feet until I got out of bed. It is not like I have anything to do apart from revision. Now I am like a bear with a sore head, with a long day ahead 🐻
