I Have An Eating Disorder

My usual is a intake of roughly 200 - 400 calories a day.

I uave Gastroparesis as sure a lot of you do too. And trying to take in more than that makes me feel really bad. And most of the time brings on a lot of pain and vomiting.

The registered dietician I recently became established with wants me to intake no less than 1000 calories a day. Some of the reason that number was chosen is because I need to loose weight. Because specific health issues cause weight gain etc...

My ED just wants to starve me - I want to starve me

The food plate im reffered to is:

1/4 - carbs or grains 2 times a day
1/4 - protien 2 times a day
1 quarter super steamed veggies 2 times
1 quarter canned fruit 2 times

Also 2 to 3 ensure high protiens a day
Along with protien bars (good ones) as snacks throughout the day.

Also maybe to do my solids during the day early. And liquids later in the day.

Idk why im writing this.
I'm stressed. EXTREMELY.
Eating is such a chore for me.
Only sometimes do I find eating nice and thats when I'm specifically using it to hurt me.
I'm so sorry you have this problem. It's got to be more than an inconvenience. Is this something that ever changes? Can you improve?

@PhoenixPhail O try really hard to do better with my own restrictions. And do get better sometimes. Then when the Gastroparesis hit. It was all down hill. Not much control over that or the problems that arise from it. I'm not a junk food eater. Never have been. I enjoy the occasional treat. But my all time favorite food is chicken. I love chicken of every kind. With veggies (of which im supposed to limit drastically because of gp)..
My main meal almost daily is 1 or a half of a small chciken breast - plain. And baked. Maybe some pepper and oregano. Then steamed veggies like carrots, Bruessel sprouts, green beans etc. And one tablespoon of raw honey. And if i miss that meal. I take in a protien drink or a few of them.
With Gastroparesis and my digestive carbs do digest a lot easier. But I dont really even eat a ton of them. Hope this helps.
@SituationalSloth It helps me to understand what you're up against. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. It seems so unfair. I wish you could just eat what you want. I wish I could, too. With all the bother it is, I hope you can still find things in your life to be grateful for.

Many Blessings 💕🤗🌹

Try the Whole 30 diet, no carbs, no sugar. Eliminate most common allergens. Food (recipes) is pretty good. Don’t feel like eating a lot because the food is “savory”. I lost 12 pounds in a month
@xixgun whole30 does not eliminate carbs and it only restricts added sugar.
