My recording a cover song project with an online friend
Halted for more than a month due to my crazy workload at the office and moving homes to closer to work. Last night my online music friend asked how I was doing with the recording. I explained to him that I was very busy recently and would record it this coming weekend.
He said never mind it's just for fun and he could wait forever.
I cherish the chance of having a friend with the same interest and record a song we both like together and do not want our project to be abandoned. If I have time, I want to do it as soon as possible.
I thank him for waiting for me. My music friend said, "no worries, you deserve my waiting. Your voice is very worthy of recording."
It feels superb to be valued. For a long time having got slapped on the face every day by verbal insults at work, this sounds like a heavenly voice. I doubt if my voice/singing is so good, but even if there is just 1 person who likes it, I feel happy and would continue to sing for this audience :D
