Scholar of the first sin includes the DLC's I believe. It is like when they released dank souls 1 and then a while later you could get the prepare to meme edition. Now it is just Dank souls Prepare to meme. I'm sure after a while you will only be able to get Scholars of the first meme.

there are both dark souls 2 on steam but yeah theres only prepare to die

@gothicbeautystar: I was reading it earlier after I made this comment cause you got me curious, and I was right. Scholar of the first sin is just dark souls 2 with all DLC's. So it is pretty much the base game with a season pass. The other one is without the DLC content. It explains why a simple upgrade is almost the price of the base game.

Seems Scholar of the First Sin is just an improved Dark Souls 2; which you can get for $10 off if you already have Dark Souls 2.

It sure looks like it. I cannot really tell though.
From what they said they changed the enemy layouts and made it look better and stuff; so it's a bit different. But basically just a modified normal game.
