I Am a Gamer

I'm an old school gamer, mainly because of the simplicity of it.

When I was really young, my gaming days began when I played a pinball game at the age of 5.

For my 7th birthday, I got an Atari 2600 VCS.

The games I got for it were Donkey Kong, Fantastic Voyage, Mouse Trap, Space Invaders, and Starmaster.

At the age of 8, I upgraded to the Nintendo Entertainment system, with games such as Pirates, Dragon Warrior, The legend of Kage, Rambo, Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt.

Also, that same year, my sister got the Sega Genesis with Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

I liked that game so much, I would play it any chance I got.

I also played other games for the Sega Genesis, such as Eternal Champions, Mortal Kombat, Street fighter 2, and every Sonic the Hedgehog game.

About the age of either 9 or 10, I ended up being a PC CD ROM gamer, playing games such as Who Shot Johnny Rock?, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: Lechuck's Revenge, Full Throttle, The Dig, Pitfall, the Mayan Adventure,
and Titanic: Adventure out of Time,

I also played DOS games at the time, such as Hugo's House of Horrors, Hugo 2: Whodunnit? Hugo 3: Jungle of Doom.

At the age of 12, maybe 13, I got a Nintendo 64 for my birthday, along with games like GoldenEye 007, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.

During the start of my teenage years, I got into playing Flight simulator games, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000, Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator: WWII Europe Series and Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2: WWII Pacific Theater.

Shortly thereafter, I downgraded to the Commodore VIC-20, the Atari 2600 VCS, The Nintendo Entertainment System, and the Sega Genesis, in a bid to reconnect with my gaming roots as well as to discover many of the old games that I never knew existed at the time.
