I Go to a Boarding School

We are being visited by a wild animal 🙄 It scratches around outside the boarding houses at night and makes a mess in the flowerbeds 😟 It could be a badger, or perhaps a fox or a lynx, we are not sure yet.

Unfortunately, some of the girls in our house think it is funny to tell the 7 year olds in the house next to us that it is a werewolf 🙄 They told them not to leave the house after they return from dinner or they will be in danger. We have told the little girls that their big sisters are talking rubbish, but some of them are still a little bit worried and are having nightmares or accidents in bed 😟

It could be something far worse than a werewolf, considering it's messing around in the flowerbeds. Depends on if the flowers are not in bloom. It can smell girls in the boarding houses.

If I were you, I would get yourself some marigolds and always keep fresh ones in the room you sleep in, otherwise you could be in some serious, very scary trouble.

It's mean to scare them but quite funny. But if it means they are having nightmares or wetting their beds because of it then they should stop. I used to get teased by my cousins about monsters in their house because they knew I would have an accident in bed especially if they told me stories like that :(

@SarahX I hope we have stopped it now, because that is quite distressing for a younger girl 😟 I'm sorry abut that thing with your cousins. My big sister did the same and I often ended up with wet pyjamas 😟

It's always distressing to have nightmares :( and also the other thing. My cousins used to think it was funny but didn't tease me for doing it or anything as they had been told it was something that some people did more than others. And its good that I haven't ever been at boarding school! It must be awful even age 7 but even worse when older :/ So its good if you have stopped them telling werewolf stories :)

@SarahX It happens even to some older girls in our school, but it is dealt with tactfully so you are not embarrassed or teased if it happens to you.

Seems like it might be time to tell the little ones that an "expert" has been brought in to analyze the flower beds and she's determined that it is a harmless woods animal looking for their favorite flower roots to eat. Feel free to embellish the story.
