when you REALLY think about it....a hair in your food isnt that gross.
ok hear me out.... when you go to a restaurant or even fast food, most of the time the cooks hair are not in hair nets. even in a ponytail, hair is swinging left and right over the prep table all day long. Im actually shocked MORE hair doesnt end up in food.
and while on one hand, Id like all cooks to wear hairnets..... I worked at a place once and had to wear one and....I wouldnt wish that on anyone.
not only that but, what do you think is on the hair? germs? you got more germs from that table and silverware you're touching than that hair
So what do you think?
edit: yes its gross but the thought in this is more in depth than just "ewww". hence my below comments

@SweetNSassy agreed always gross. I dont eat hair in my spare time lol. but I dont believe in crucifying the chef for an accident. thats all I was getting at pretty much
@SweetNSassy its so crazy though watching all of these cooking shows (well im stuck on masterchef and hells kitchen) and no one ever wears a net. I know its because it doesnt look good on tv but I wonder if gordon ramsay makes his chefs wear nets in his actual kitchens? 🤔 just know that steak and shake does require them lol
@HellsBelle 🤔good question lol and come to think of it, My friend that owns a bar, doesn’t ever have one on when I see him and he sometimes helps out the cook 🤨🤷♀️🤣
