I Love Food

American meatballs are HUGE compared to Swedish meatballs. I always bought them from IKEA but this time got them from a regular store. It reminds me of an episode of one of Chef Ramsey's shows where he dines at a British restaurant and gets served meals with American-sized portions. He then described the food to be big enough for a dinosaur. But an the average American would have no problem eating it all and ordering seconds. Even American commenters said they could at two servings on the dish he was served. I'm American and I love American food, but it's just so surprising seeing our portions compared with the portions of other countries. It makes me realize how much more the average American eats in a meal.
