I Love Films

Hello all you Similar people! I just thought i'd write a little bit about what i've been watching lately .... I pause right now in the midst of a Robert Allen Schnitzer student film - [b]Terminal Point[/b], i like it a lot, despite the fact that i'm pausing it and on here, the lead actor has a mustachio like the guy in Fassbinder's Gods of the Plague, it's groovy and artsy, and on the disc of Schnitzer's main feature [b]The Premonition[/b] which i shall get too soon. It is a part of a box set which began with [b]Malatesta's Carnival of Blood[/b], and i enjoyed that a lot, like a dream, and it had the dwarf from The Forbidden Zone!! Also watched some Herschell Gordon Lewis stuff, 2,000 Maniacs being the best, a delightful hillbilly gore thing, and the Something Weird movie which was where a dvd line got it's name, and Color Me Blood Red, Maniacs is for sure the best of all the HG Lewis stuff seen so far, and it was his own fave too!! Then there is the Jorg Buttgereit stuff, i have so far seen Hot Love some music videos and Nekromantik. It's ok, none of it grossed me out, and i sorta wanna get Der Todes King and Schramm before dying .... looking forward to Nekromantik 2 and a short about Ed Gein, Nekromantik 2 is supposed to have quite a screwed up ending. A few more unmentioned to look forward to, and loads of special features, all this stuff is from Arrow Video, very impressed with that company and will get more from them.
