I Hate It When Someone Doesnt Text Back

OK, mostly I'm just fine with that. If I text someone and they don't text back I don't give it a lot of worry. Maybe they're really busy. Maybe they're in a situation where they shouldn't be texting, like a movie. Maybe their phone battery is toast and they're not aware. Maybe they're sleeping. Maybe a gang of thugs jumped them, rolled them up in an old carpet and threw them in the river. See, I look at it in a positive way.

If they just don't want to talk with me, that's OK too. I prefer conversations with people who want to talk with me.

Now, there are exceptions. If I'm picking up a friend to go somewhere and I send a text "I'll be there at 4, OK?" They need to respond. In fact any text that ends with a question mark should get a response. Except "Do you mind if I date your ex girlfriend?" No response is just as good as a response with that one.
