I Have a Strange Family
A couple of things.
A little bit ago, I got a telephone call. The person calling asked for my mother, who died six weeks ago. I wouldn't say it was upsetting, but it was kind of disturbing, I guess.
Every now and then, I still get that half-formed thought in the back of my mind that I need to call Mom because I haven't done it for a while. That's weird.
Another thing.
I stepped out of the office a bit ago to get a soda. As I was walking back, I happened to notice a young woman with a bob haircut, and it occurred to me that my stepson's wife looks just like Evangeline Lilly, but somehow still manages to be unattractive.
So, that's my day so far.
