Honor does matter.
We are nothing but a speck of dust. No one will care about me 50 years after I die. My point is, the feeling that you're dying for something greater matters.
Even though its a delusion ultimately, I think it doesn't matter because I would die for something I believe in instead of dying in an accident, for example.
