Then you should keep your leftist ass the hell out of America ! Guns in the US will never be outlawed, banned, or confiscated . Our second amendment to the constitution exists solely because of the Tyranny exhibited by the Brits so long ago . Instead of lamenting our freedoms you might ponder why you are so ready to surrender yours . Five times More people die in the US due to medical malpractice ... should we eliminate all Doctors ? 3 times as many people die in this county in car wrecks ... should we now eliminate everyone's right to drive ? More people die from stabbing a than gunfire in this country ... should we all go on a soft diet ? And we won't mention England's Islamic terrorist attack a week habit , or London's Muslim mayor saying that's just life in the big city . We don't have Muslims controlling our streets or out government ... that's your deal . So Enjoy your lack of freedoms , and I'll enjoy my right to keep and bear arms

The fallacy of your argument/case is that you aren't using the same matrix between the two countries... Subtract suicides from the US's rate and the US is beneath what the UK experiences.. They do the same with birthrates and longevity... Here in the states, if a child is even delivered from the womb.. it's a birth.. other countries demand minutes and in some cultures, it's not a birth till they reach the age of 2 years! But.. I'll tell ya what... you can keep your culture... and we'll keep ours... When we have a Manchester type event, I'll be ready to respond with a Ruger Blackhawk .41 cal that I carry without need for "permission". Our "Manchester" will be 1/10th of what you and your helpless citizens experience. Continue on your way, and you'll see only the hapless and terrorist visiting.. Our President tried to get some political traction out of the terrorist attack in London, by drawing attention to the use of knives. The next day, we had a mass murder in the US, nearly the same number of victims, using guns, more the following day, and so forth and so on.

Now compare knife attacks per capita in the US and UK.
