Hurricane George in Mobile in 1998. I think it was a cat 2. It wasn’t bad just lots of rain, minor flooding and some intermittent power outages. I feel like it wasn’t really much worse than some of the severe thunderstorms we get each year in the southeast.

I've been in several hurricanes, three major, but never a cat 5. They are a part of life on the Texas Gulf Coast.
