I Have Glasses

I do and I always wanted to wear glasses. I finally was prescribed glasses for distance about 23 1/2 months ago. I have an eye appointment on 12/27 and it excites me and scares me. Why? I LOVE wearing my weak distance glasses but I helped or conned my way to getting my present prescription.

I LOVE getting my eyes examined and always have.

I wish there were more questions on the MAIN QUESTION BOARD regarding glasses, prescriptions, vision with glasses, and vision without glasses. Sadly, there never are. 😢. FYI, it excites me!

Update: 😱 ! The exam is just 10 days away.. 😬
Update #2: I postponed my appointment. I got scared.

@Pfuzylogic TBH, I have liked some of what has been passed off as professional development. If it gives me something that aids my students in their growth, I love it. If it doesn’t, it is a waste of resources that could be put to better use.

I taught High School vocational electronics but IVTITTA had close to 20 occupations that were taught. We developed Subject matter so that not only did it keep the teachers current but also developed a “hands-on” curriculum.
It made sure that there wasn’t a gap from teaching to the learning. Watching “the lights turn on” was our reward!

I couldn’t imagine a time when I wasn’t wearing glasses. There was a time when I wore contact lenses, but only for certain days or occasions.
