I Think The Cane Should Be Bought Back Into The School System

I think this is a good way of making sure children get to school on time.

Here all the late children get a stroke of the cane as they enter the school.

Caning is not necessary in this day an age, as long as they know there are consequences for their actions and a discipline to follow that is enough..what if they were late due to an emergency or vehicle breakdown that's not their fault..nowadays just confiscate their phone till the end of the day then you will see even a teenager cry! 😂

@Primnproper Excellent points. All sorts of issues involving bussing and other aspects of getting to school. Phone confiscation could risk other problems. Best not to do anything disrupting communication with home and kid's guardians.

You might like an ancient story from China called The Story about Ping. Ping is a duck who almost becomes part of a soup because he is trying to avoid a cane stroke for being late back to his boat.

@SW-User We could get away with the occasional lateness but we got the slipper if it happened too often. Sometimes the gym mistress would wait at the gate to slipper late comers as they arrived.
