Smiling is infectuous

It is true! I smile even at strangers and there is rarely one who doesn't smile back.

Smiling Is Infectious
by Jez Alborough

Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner
and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized
I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile, just like mine
could travel round the earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!
Great sentiments…I am Irish and we tend to smile at people in the street , even if occasionally you get odd looks!

@Peterbyres2022matureuk I have the honour to know two Irishmen. Both easy going and fun to chat with.
Dear Spike what a blessing he was to all of us ♥

Lovely. And so true.

Ever been in front of used car salesman? Or a motivational speaker? Both are the same kind of animal.

Why I don't believe that statement.

Want to really make people smile?

Help them yet don't smile back!

Actions speak far far louder than reactions such as smiles!

@DeWayfarer great that you're helping people to make them smile.

@Rickichickie that I do as much as possible. Even if I never know if they had smiled back!

With everyone wearing masks these days, it’s almost impossible to see a smile.

@sciguy18 you know what? People started greeting and talking more as if to make up for the lacking smile. Lol
