I Have Random Thoughts

I know what it means for mercy to be born in the midst of rage. Rage clouds our eyes when we're in its midst, but if we can focus our eyes for just an instant, then it becomes the perfect vantage point for seeing just how ugly it is. It's at that moment that some of the deepest forgiveness can be found. It's at that moment that we can finally free the prisoner, and then learn that the prisoner was ourselves all along.
