I Have Random Thoughts

People on here like to message others with random questions. Some times it's out of pure boredom. Some of them are looking for drama, or to get a rise out of the other person. Maybe they should just find a hobby. Or maybe they need more friends...but internet friends aren't the same as the ones you have in person. So we come to wonder why we're here on these social media sites where we don't know anyone (or know very few people in some cases). Some times we just want to be where we are unknown, but we still have this urge to reach out. And it just feels so awkward because we come to find that we don't know the majority of the people on our list, yet we share our deepest secrets and thoughts with them. It's ironic that they know things our real friends don't...they know all the things we hide, all the things we don't dare tell people we know...yet they don't know our names. It's like an alternate universe/reality.
