I Have Random Thoughts

I let my boyfriend borrow my laptop so he can send out job applications. It's brand new and I've never had a single problem with it but now it's running slow. This was the most expensive thing I've ever bought myself, excluding my car, and I'm unreasonably sad about this 馃槶

Thankfully, the concept of wear and tear applies very differently to computers. The hardware is likely just fine. And the software can always be fixed. In worst case scenarios, via a wipe+reinstall, but no matter what, you if you want it badly enough, you can always bring it back to running as new.

*Macbook Pros need regular (yearly) disassembly and vacuuming, and I eventually had to mod mine for heat dissipation. Apple just can't seem to get heat management right, or at least, in line with my priorities.
