@monte3 I never actually seen a wild turkey until about 16 years ago around here. Now they are in abundance. You can shoot them with black powder apparently just about anytime of the year.

Black powder! Just like in pioneer times.

@monte3 It's kind of interesting that some hunters still use that method for hunting around these parts.

@S2dio57 Well I'm not a drinker per say, but if I'm drinking hard liquor I prefer rum or vodka. Usually in a fruity drink or something delicious.😋

@sunrisehawk They eat a lot of bird seed, corn and sunflower seeds. It's just the trio of hens that hang out together. 😊

@sunrisehawk No that's true, they've got very acute hearing as well. They just have a tendency to run across the road in front of my car sometimes. That's certainly a hair raising experience.

@SweetMae I'm pretty sure they'll most likely do the same here. All the redwing blackbirds are returning and the robins trickling in now. 😊
