Not at all. I believe the people who push to prove themselves to others are also the ones that are the most insecure.

Takes too much work and I'm too lazy for it unless it involves money or promotion.

Prob wishful thinking cause it is what they lack in real world
So they promote themselves on line -

It's worth it to make yourself happy but it also depends on what. :)

It must be exhausting.
I think always trying to prove ones self is low self esteem/insecurity or could be the opposite, feeding the ego/narcissism.
