@sensualbeauty1 yeah my Great Dane has to take Benadryl to weather storms and fire works she would get so frightened

@Angeleyez Oh that's rather sad, animals are very intuitive about things. They really don't appreciate storms or high winds. My cats will most likely curl up around me tonight to feel safer.😊.

@smileylovesgaming We take everything for granted, especially our power. 😔

@smileylovesgaming Oh Lord, absolute chaos probably. That happened about 15 years ago major power grid wiped out across North America.

@CookieCrumbs Oh no! that's terrible, I didn't hear that. I've not had the news on this morning yet. It definitely was in ON. incredibly wicked winds last evening throughout the night. Had our power restored this morning, thankfully.

@PoetryNEmotion Hope nobody was hurt and your power has been restored. Our power came back on about 15 minutes ago and just went out again.🤔 The winds have died down and it's quiet now, that's one consolation.

@sensualbeauty1 It is weird to be without power. Mine was only out for a short period of time. Trees were down all over the place. Homes and apartments lost their pieces. It was ferocious. Winds were 99 km an hour. No one died. Some people were struck by debris and falling trees though. I wish you power and a quick recovery.

@PoetryNEmotion Thanks so much, when you see the devastating effects of those high ferocious winds you're so grateful for being inside where you are hopefully relatively safe. One consolation is that you're sheltered from the elements. Hopefully no one was hurt badly where you are or here as well. I believe the winds were much higher than I first thought last night. I was out in it and I could hardly drive home on the hwy.

There's debris all over my front ysrd, scattered branches etc., Power has just returned thankfully so I'll have to watch the morning news to see what sort of havoc and devastation it created around here. Glad to hear you're safe, take care.

@Degbeme I'm glad you're safe, sorry to hear about your gazebo cover. I'm OK thanks, just am glad that it it's over now. Those were hurricane force winds and so chaotic in their devastation.

@GJOFJ3 Hi there, just notified hydro to let them know.aboyt outage. Apparently it's out across the region. Just concerned about sump pump and flooded basement.

@Livingwell Thanks my friend, it was on for a few minutes and just went out again. Hopefully it comes back on again soon. The wicked high winds have diminished though.
