Yesterday I read about the woman Sydney forgot...Natalie Wood, who lay dead in her home for 8 years, not missed by a soul.

The account of her very lonely, austere life had me in tears and hit home a little, I guess.

Every life is of value.

I think I heard about this but completely forgot until ready your post now. I'm in Oz too but this could easily happen anywhere in the western world as we have allowed our society's priorities to change.

They cut her power off ages ago, and stopped her centrelink pension too - yet, no one noticed she had gone. So, so sad.

Yes, she was discovered in 2011, but the battle has now begun for her estate. Very sad.
