i had to force myself not to laugh during my great uncles funeral because that was my first reaction and it was incredibly rude but i couldn't help it

I sometimes get funny things into my head at bad times. One time during an ANZAC service I remembered this story my grandfather told me about this man who knelt down naked to fix his TV, when his cat ran forward and attacked his balls and he went head first into his TV knocking himself unconscious. And the paramedics were laughing so hard about what happened to him they dropped him down the stairs of his apartment and broke his leg. I always think of that damn story when I'm supposed to be all solemn and respectful.
